County Park Nursery is a small independent plant nursery started in 1955 by Graham and Margaret Hutchins. We have a proud history, having received numerous awards and introduced many new plants over the years.
Having recently undergone many changes, in 2017 we moved to a new location in Hampshire and after a long standstill we are now back producing plants again!
We are far from your typical plant/garden centre; all of our plants are produced on site from scratch, many of which cannot be found elsewhere.
We are still mostly sticking to our New Zealand / Australasian species although the range has been reduced in order to increase quality, with the main focus now being on structural / low maintenance shrubs suitable for UK climate such as Leptospermum (Manuka) Callistemon (bottlebrush) Corokia (wire-netting bush) and Hoheria (lacebark).
We continue breeding and raising new cultivars and are always on the hunt for new and interesting varieties.
The nursery is open for visits by appointment only, please contact Paul for availability.
